This Sunday: Be part of the 1st ever INSTALLATION OF CARE in NYC!

Dear Rockstar KP Mobbers!
The last installation was rained out - but we have another chance.

On Sunday, Sept 22, 3-5pm, we are hosting and co-creating the first ever Installation of Care, a simple, live, participatory art installation made up of anyone who would like to register. While it isn't a "dancing" flashmob, it has some very similar vibes and we would love for you, and your joy to be with us.

We are working in partnership with cool uptown artists Movement of the People and Marcela Xavier.

WHAT IS IT?
We are inviting NYers to take part in the first ever, large-scale, community installation of care along the water's edge beginning at 3pm.
Register at the link and come to the Little Red Lighthouse with a friend or two. Be assigned a spot a long the waterfront to take 15 or 30 minutes to be present and offer a "gesture of care" between you and the person you are with.
Everything counts: Reading a book together; doing someone's hair; talking; looking out over the river; drawing together. Use this as a time to take a breath and be present with someone, as a time to meet new people or both!!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign Up for a time slot on June 30th with others, or by yourself
2. Wear the color scheme you signed up for with comfortable footwear.
3. Come to the Little Red Lighthouse on Sept 22 15 minutes or more before your time slot
4. Take part in making a gorgeous moment in history!

Everyone is welcome, no dance experience is needed.
The Kinesis Project performance will take place immediately following the installation.

To reach the Little Red Lighthouse:

• From the north, enter the Park via the pedestrian bridge at 181st Street and Plaza Lafayette. Follow the path south towards the George Washington Bridge.
• From the south, follow 158th Street all the way west and enter the park via the stairs or ramp. Turn right on the Hudson River Greenway and continue north towards the George Washington Bridge.
