CANCELED - Friday Night Dancing With A Lesson

This is a great weekly event for meeting new people and getting comfortable with moving to the music! We do primarily cross-step waltz, which is maybe the best medium for learning to dance creatively. We may do a little bit of group practice during the evening but we are mostly doing open dancing to a wide range of recorded songs.

NEW DANCERS: Come on out! More experienced dancers will show you the ropes and you can have a lot of fun.

We like to switch partners for each dance so everyone has a chance to get in on the action and to mix with a range of beginning, intermediate, and advanced dancers.

In addition to waltz, there might be an occasional swing tune or something else that you request. Healthy snacks too!

The fee is $7, which helps us pay for the beautiful space at CSP. Bring a guest! Complete beginners are welcome.

Just a note that there are sometimes two different dance events happening at CSP Studio on Friday night. Make sure you look for the cross-step waltz dance when you get there.

When you arrive, please DO let us know that you are from the Meetup group and feel free to tell us about your level of dance experience and your dance interests.

Plenty of parking and some good restaurants nearby for before-dance dinner.

We do try to start right on time at 7:30, so try to get there in advance. But if you're late, come on in anyway!!
