I faced the fact that it is hard to quickly find the right dancing event in Sarasota. I have to scroll thru hundred pages of ads on internet to find the date, the place, what kind of dance or music to figure it out. Hence - this group.
Meetup allows to quickly sort by date, by distance, by keywords.
Don't be scared if you see "only 1 person is going". In most cases - there are many other dancers there. But please check with venue if it is still on - sometimes they cancel last moment and don't tell anybody.
I'll start with events I know. I'm not the organizer of these events. They are listed here just as public announcement. By default, I don't vouch for the venue, unless I explicitly say so. Use your own judgement if it fits your interests.
