St James Hall, 462 Elizabeth St, New Town (off Rupert Avenue just up the hill from Augusta Rd, enter behind church)

Mar 2nd: Contra Dance with hot old-time tunes by Ross Smithard & Friends

Mar 16th: Contra Dance with the Seat Pant Flyers

Contra dancing is moderately aerobic and highly addictive. It’s a lively, social, swingy dance style from the USA. Done to simple walking steps, it features flowing movements, swings and twirls, and a chance to dance with everyone in the room.

All dances taught.
No dancing experience or partner required.
All ages and identities welcome.
