Learn basic dance steps and a few simple folk dances that will be done later at the party.
3:30 - 6:30 PM Folk Dance Party
Retro Party! Bring out your 1970's finest (from tie-dye to disco!) and enjoy an afternoon of folk dance with our emcees Alicia and Ellie! We'll be dancing to wonderful recorded music from around the world, including line, circle, couple and set dances. No partner is necessary.
First-timers are always free at our parties; a $10 donation is requested from others if you can afford it. Please dress in layers, and wear or bring comfortable shoes to dance in (sneakers are fine). There will be lots of people to talk to if you don't feel like dancing.
