What we’re about

This is a group for those passionate about tasting, drinking and learning about fine wine. Anyone is welcome, regardless of your level of knowledge about wines.

We'll meet on a monthly basis and have a wine theme for each event with the goal to explore wines from a particular region like Barolo, Rioja, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, German Riesling, Red Burgundy, Washington State Cabernet, etc. Looking to drink some good wine and have the opportunity to compare different vintages and AVAs within a region, like the different villages of the Cotes de Nuits in Burgundy (Vosne- Romanee, Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, etc) or the various AVAs within Napa (Rutherford, Howell Mountain, Oakville, etc.) so things might get a bit geeky. To make it fair to everone, we'll set a minimum bottle price for each event, based on the theme, as a good quality and interesting Red Burgundy will obviously be at a different price point than a good quality and interesting New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. There will be a ceiling on the number of attendees each event depending on how many people that month's host can manage and folks can choose to attend or pass on any given month based on availability, interests, price point that month, etc.

These are BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) and BYOG (Bring Your Own Glass) events so if you bring a guest or spouse, then we respectfully ask that each person brings their own bottle and glass. Please note that guests should be accounted for in the RSVP for each event so that hosts are not overwhelmed.

Please consider taking Uber or Lyft if you are not walking home.

Looking forward to exploring the world of wine with everybody!
