Dar es salaam Atlassian Community Launch

The Atlassian Community Dar es salaam is a new community here in Dar that encourages better use of Atlassian tools and shares best practices, case studies, and individual perspectives.

This is our first official event as a community we are therefore asking you to RSVP only once you know you will be able to attend.

Atlassian community events are where Atlassian users, entrepreneurs, engineers, and business acumen meet to share their experiences on how they use the tools to increase productivity and ship products.

This community has an abundance of Atlassian Experts and customers in the area - let's take advantage of each other's expertise. We meet every other month to talk about all things Atlassian, from JIRA dashboards to perfecting your Stash workflow. If you've got a topic to present or questions you need to be answered, we're here to help. RSVP to our next meeting or join the group to be notified of upcoming events and ACE news.

Agenda

9:00 AM: Arriving and Introductions

Community members are expected to start arriving and introduce themselves and get to know each other

10:00 AM: What is the Atlassian Community Dar es salaam

An introduction of the Atlassian community and the Dar es salaam chapter from the community leadership

12:00 PM: Keynote

We will have a talk from our own Edgar Mlowe, who will share about remote job hunt and his road map toward getting a remote job for developer in Tanzania

1:30 PM: Food, Drinks and Celebration

We will have time for some good meals and drinks before we end up our event

2:00 PM: Closure

We will be closing our event and by taking all members photo for future memories

Edgar is a senior Software Engineer and expert in Web and GIS, with experience in programming languages and tools including JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Ruby, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, GeoServer, and Leaflet.
