Engaging JavaScript
Details
# About the meetup
JavaScript sucks. It really does. Why, is a good question.
A long time ago, someone decided that, building a language within 2 weeks was a good idea. It was not, hence, “JavaScript: The Good Parts” by Douglas Crockford.
In all fairness, JavaScript has come a long way i.e. we now have: ES2018, webpack, react, vue and all these goodies that make our lives as developers allegedly easier. I say allegedly because I have been led to believe that, it usually has little to do with the car but more to do with the driver.
During this meetup, expect to hear from top-class developers and engaging instructors demystifying concepts you once felt mere mortals could not comprehend.
