Cleveland and South Durham Social Meeters

Hometown is a great new facility...a modern Museum and event venue celebrating and sharing the story of Darlington's Railway Heritage. This weekend represents the first anniversary of the Museum's opening and there's a series of party events to celebrate this.

The following comes directly from their website

"There'll be a cake, a climbing wall, stilt walkers, bubbles and even a circus workshop! We'll also have musical performances from Victoria Armstrong, and Hayley McKay with a local Community Choir. Plus, our very own Joe Connor will be the show master keeping the party going."

There a massive gathering going on next weekend...artisan food and drink providers, live bands and a fab festival vibe by the seaside.

They're be lots going on...bring a bag with you to take home some treats from some great inde food stalls and artisan brands.

We'll probably go for a few drinks on the seafront afterwards if anyone is up for that.
