Welcome to The Darmstadt Improv Lab!

What is Improv?
It is basically playing make-believe for adults. We act out short scenes together, but there is no script. We just make it up on the spot!
There are no scripts to memorize. Instead, we play fun improv games, do silly group exercises, and act out short scenes made up right on the spot.
Who is this for?
English Speakers & Learners: Expats, international students, or locals wanting to practice English in a fun way.
Total Beginners: Zero acting experience needed.
The Curious: If you just want to meet people, laugh, and try something new.
You: You do not need to be a "funny person" to do this!
Why it is NOT scary:
In improv, there are no mistakes. We use a golden rule called "Yes, And."
We always agree and support each other. You are never left hanging.

Right now, it is just me starting this from scratch. We don't have a venue yet. If you join, we will wait until we have a small group, then meet at a cafe or park just to say hi and chat. Zero pressure.
