This Sunday we will launch our winter walking program with a walk through North End Halifax.
Each week, members of our Dartmouth-based walking club come together on Sunday mornings to walk one of our local trails and explore our different communities. New walkers are always welcome to join.
We walk in just about all conditions, so listen for the weather forecast on the day and be sure to dress accordingly.
The Trail: This week we will walk through the Hydrostone, up to Fort Needham and then explore the murals of Mulgrave Park. There will be both 6 and 10 km guided routes, mainly on sidewalks and asphalt trails. Some modest hills.
Registration: starts at 9:30 – walk starts at 10:00 am
Meeting Place: The Atlantic Superstore parking lot at 6141 Young Street.
