This Sunday, July 13th, we will be having a special outing to Chester, - with both a walk and potluck picnic!
Each week, members of our Dartmouth-based walking club come together on Sunday mornings to walk one of our local trails. New members are always welcome to join!
Please be sure to check the weather on the day (we walk in almost all conditions) and dress appropriately!
Meeting Place: We will gather at the Chester Train Station Museum. (Take Highway 103 to Exit 7 and then follow Rte 3 the old highway to the Train Station Museum and Info Centre at 20 Smith Rd, Chester.)
Meeting Time: 9:30 am for registration, hike departs at 10:00 am. Chester is about a 50 minute drive from HRM, so please plan accordingly, and share rides if possible.
Potluck Picnic: Bring a contribution to the potluck picnic which will start at 12:30, after the hike.
Hiking Options: Both 10k and 5k routes along mainly flat and gravel trails.
