Join us on Sunday for a walk through Historical Halifax

Each week, members of our Dartmouth-based walking club come together on Sunday mornings to walk one of our local trails. New members are always welcome to join!

This Sunday, August 31st is another in our series of urban walks, that have replaced our scheduled forest hikes cancelled due to risk of wildfires.

We have dubbed this one a "Halifax Historical Walk", which will wend its way through downtown Halifax, hitting many of the key historical sites: Point Pleasant Park, Citadel Hill, Public Gardens, Waterfront and more!

As usual, there will be 6k and 10k routes on offer. Some hills involved, but all on smooth (pavement or gravel) surfaces.

Meeting Time: Registration begins at 9:30 am, hike departs at 10:00 am.

Meeting Point: We will assemble in the parking lot of the Atlantic Superstore on Barrington St., - in the farthest corner, by the bus terminal / railway station.
