Join us on Sunday as we walk the glorious Hemlock Ravine!
Each week, members of our Dartmouth-based walking club come together on Sunday mornings to walk one of our local trails and explore our different communities. New walkers are always welcome to join!
This Sunday, Sept 14th, is one of our favourite hikes, through the Hemlock Ravine Park in Bedford, past the Heart shaped pond through the woods and over to the Cabin Lake Trail.
Be sure to check the weather conditions on the morning: we hike in all but the worst conditions!
Time: Registration at 9:30 am and hike departs at 10:00.
Options: Both 6k and 10k routes are available. Most of the route is on crushed gravel trail, with some short passages on both easier (sidewalks) and more difficult (rough wooded) surfaces. There are some moderate slopes, up and down.
Meeting Place: we will assemble in the NSLC parking lot at Wedgewood Plaza 117 Kearney Lake Rd, Halifax.
