August 27th Run at Rockefeller State Park!

Join us on August 27th for a run at Rockefeller State Park!

RUN ROUTE/DESCRIPTION

The run starts on the Old Croton Aqueduct and transitions to the trails of Rockefeller State Park Preserve. The group begins together for the first quarter-to-half mile and then naturally separates out depending on pace (we recommend having a GPS app for the trails because we cannot guarantee a sweeper will be present for every run). The run is normally between 7-10 miles, but there are options to go less and/or more distance. Runners are welcome to start earlier or add on afterwards to meet their own needs.

NYC WHIPPETS

For any NYC Whippets who will be coming up on the train, there’s usually an express train from Grand Central at 7:50am (Harlem-125th at 8:01am) that arrives at Tarrytown at 8:29am. The meetup spot is 1 mile uphill from the train station. Just RSVP and comment that you're coming so that we know to wait for you (you can leave any bags, clothing, etc. in one of our cars if need be)!
