Learn a general Self Assesment for limited flexibility and strength with the Functional Movement screen test. Whether you are about to run the marathon, have noticed more complaints with your body as you've put in more training, or are still recovering from an old injury, it is important to educate yourself about your body. The Functional Movement Screening test is commonly used by trainers, Chiro and PT offices to give you an easy to follow assessment of your mobility and strength for functional tasks. I'll also show you some practical stretches and exercises for improving your score before your limits lead to bigger problems.

About Presenter:

Besides being a Whippet, Russ is an acupuncturist and PT with 14 years experience treating orthopedic complaints and sports injuries. I became an acupuncturist because it is great at treating many injuries, gives pain relief and promotes relaxation. As a PT, I believe the role of Physical Therapy is to educate people first. Hopefully the better we take care of ourselves, the less interventional care we need.
