NYC Marathon Cheering Section (Bronx)

Come join us and support our runners on NYC Marathon Day!

We will meet at the BP gas station on 138th Street in the Bronx (on the runners' right-hand side) roughly a quarter mile before reaching mile 21. The closest subway is 138th St-Grand Concourse on the 4/5 (green) line.

Elite women will pass by around 11:15 a.m. Elite men and the field as a whole arrive just past 11:30 a.m. Sub-3 hour Whippets start arriving 11:50 onward, with a huge number coming through between noon and 1 PM.

When we're done cheering, the subway is nearby so we can meet our friends at the Dashing Whippets after-party!

Directions from the closest subway stop: Exit the subway and head WEST (slightly uphill) along 138th Street. You will see the BP gas station on your right just after you walk underneath the overpass.

Runners, look for us ON YOUR RIGHT as you approach mile 21 in the Bronx, just before you run across the Madison Avenue Bridge back into Manhattan.
