Photoshop Lessons - Textures and Brushes

This workshops is for up to 12 photographers and it is 2 hours.

Photoshop level: Beginner to Intermediate

Cost: 35$ plus HST. (39.55$)

The first part:

Have you ever wanted to do more with your images? While perfectly captured and realistic, adding a texture or overlay to your image can give it an extra ‘punch’ and add a lot to the mood or creative vision you have. In this workshop, we will be spending the first hour going through the techniques, styles and types of textures to add to your images and how to do so in Photoshop. Afterwards, we will take a short walk around outside of the studio to photograph some new textures, highlighting what is important to look for, while starting or adding to our own collections of textures.

The second part:

In the second half of the class, we will learn how to make our own custom photoshop brushes, and take a moment to photograph some smoke trails.

Please note:

A DSLR is required for this session. In order for the your camera to trigger the studio lights, you will need to have a standard flash hot shoe which can accommodate the Profoto air remote. Nikon and Canon DSLRs have this ability. Sony cameras require an adapter. Please check your camera's manual to ensure that your camera is suitable for this purpose before signing up. If you have any questions, you can contact me prior to signing up as well.
