Session 1: The Data & AI Ecosystem Today — Roles, Stacks & Your First AI Agent
Roles are merging when AI coming. A DE builds ML pipelines, a DS writes ETL, an analyst deploys AI copilots. This session maps what's changed, then everyone builds something with AI before they leave.
Demo (~15 min): Walk through a personal learning project on AWS+GCP — Postgres, FastAPI, Next.js, Airflow, BigQuery. Show how one person operates the full stack.
AI Hands-on (~15 min): Everyone opens Claude/Gemini/ChatGPT. We give a prompt challenge: "Build a Python script that fetches weather data from a free API, stores it in SQLite, and prints a summary." Watch how different models handle it. Compare outputs as a group.
Open Floor (~20 min): What does your stack look like? What AI tools have changed your daily work? Experienced folks: what patterns work across companies?
