Talks 1:
Michael Schoustra - MLOps Lead at Xomnia In this talk, Michael will discuss the history of MLOps and explore its current definition. Then we will examine how MLOps is specifically approached within Xomnia. Our approach is built upon three technical core pillars—Development, Deployment, and Monitoring. We will explore current tools for each of these pillars and demonstrate how they can be applied in real-world scenarios.
Discover how modularizing your MLOps can be advantageous, allowing you to implement small components incrementally, rather than adopting a full-scale MLOps approach right from the start. This strategy can help you gradually reduce technical debt. We will address common challenges faced by businesses in the MLOps domain and demonstrate how adopting a modular strategy can transform these challenges into business gains.
Talks 2:
Camilo Martinez - Senior ML Engineering Manager at Booking.com. In this talk, Camilo will discuss how do you go about starting an ML Platform? Come and learn about the lessons of running a large scale one at Booking.com. From where to begin to which parts of the platform complement each other. Hear about where Booking has succeeded and where it has struggled when it comes to MLOps and how we keep improving as we enter the GenAI era
