John Arx Gabrenas has over 20 years of IT and data experience and currently heads up the data strategy for Elevate Textiles.

Arx holds bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Education. He has spent most of his professional career striving to understand the entire data lifecycle to include the technological, interpersonal, and business aspects of data availability, delivery, and consumption.

His passion is to organize, process, and present data in a format that is a benefit and not a burden to those who need it. With the massive increase in available data streams and the proliferation of 3rd party vendor solutions data is quickly becoming more siloed.

Arx will present his insights, challenges, and successes on overcoming the obstacles associated with finding real business value from data across disparate systems.
