connecting data-driven women in San Francisco! We developed DDW as a home for the inspiring women who impact every aspect of the data that makes our world run. We know talking about data can be intimidating, but the members of our group make data, like our events, approachable.

Each event includes access to free resume reviews, interview training and feedback, and offer/salary negotiation.
The format of our events...
Each event is structured the same so that we can focus more on the people and less on the logistics.
Our Event Host
A local organization hosts each of our events. Thanks to our approachable community and inspiring speakers, our list of hosts are referral-based. If you work for an organization that would like to give back to the DDW community by hosting an event, please email Erin (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
The evening of the event, the host will share a set of features speakers with us. These speakers come from within the organization and are women who have decided to share their story with our community. We ask the speakers to share their unique stories, in a similar format, so the audience can easily follow along from one speaker to the next. Come to hear what these women love to do for work, about the challenges they overcame to get where they are today, and the goals they are pursuing as they look ahead.
Job Search & Career Guidance
Data Driven Women (DDW) is about accessibility. Navigating the job search, managing your career, as a woman, is challenging. We’ve made it a point to help as many people as we can, one-on-one, with each event. The second hour of each event is where attendees can receive free resume feedback, interview feedback, and even get help negotiating an offer or their next salary raise.
A typical event timeline looks something like this:
