This group is for anyone interested in the challenges and opportunities of data to fundamentally transform the world in which we live, work and play.
Marc Andreessen famously said that “software is eating the world.” While we certainly agree with Marc that software companies are redefining our economies, we believe that much of that technological shift is being driven by data and that increasingly, the value of a business will be determined by its ability to leverage all types and formats of data to make their product or service better.
This Meetup will explore data in many different ways, across all sectors and industries. Although the manipulation and analysis of data can be quite technical, the Meetups will cover topics at a level suitable for anyone who wants to reflect on data and how it is eating the world.
