Have you ever heard of survival models?

In this presentation we will introduce the basic concepts of survival models and build models interactively using R.

Survival models are used in many applications, from predicting when a bond will default to a drug's impact on patient survival in clinical trials.
This workshop assumes no prior knowledge and introduces modeling techniques from first principles. Survival models are build using R.

==== WE'LL BRIEFLY GO OVER ====

  1. Applications of survival models in different industries
  2. Theory behind Survival modeling
  3. Error Metrics used in Survival Modeling
  4. Building Models: Parametric, Semi-Parametric, and non-parametric
