In this session, we’ll explore how to build an intelligent chat agent using Chainlit: a powerful framework for developing conversational AI applications. We’ll start from a simple chatbot and progressively enhance it with tooling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and guardrails for safety and control.
The demo will use the OpenAI API, but participants are encouraged to experiment with their own LLMs. The UV package manager will be used for environment setup, so please have it installed prior to the session.
