Chico Andre G. Olaguer is the Executive Vice President for Internals of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Society (ECES) at De La Salle University–Manila and a BSMS Electronics Engineering student with a strong focus on AI, data engineering, and emerging technologies.

He currently volunteers with Data Engineering Pilipinas (DEP) as part of its AI Study Group and Journal Club, contributing to community-driven learning and technical discussions. He is also a Community Development Volunteer at the Quantum Computing Society of the Philippines and Power BI Pilipinas, and serves as Associate Director for Research at FRWRD, the student organizational arm of Animo Labs.

Chico holds multiple leadership and organizing roles across academic and industry-backed communities, including NVIDIA AI Academy PH Lead Organizer, Databricks University Alliance Member, Intel Partner Alliance DLSU Admin, Events Planning Officer at Google Developer Groups on Campus (GDGoC) DLSU, and University Welfare Executive for Events & Activities at Microsoft Student Community DLSU. He is also an ambassador for DeepLearning.AI, EasyEDA, and ECSA, helping bridge industry learning platforms with student communities.

He is NVIDIA-certified in Fundamentals of Deep Learning and Building LLM Applications with Prompt Engineering, with additional training and recognitions across AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data engineering. Chico has represented DLSU in national competitions such as the KPMG x Microsoft Academic Innovation Challenge, IECEP Math Olympiad, QCSP Hackathon, and UP CIRCUIT SquEEEze, and has hands-on experience spanning AI systems, robotics, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and drone technologies through X-LIPAD.
Driven by community impact, Chico is passionate about building accessible, structured pathways for students to enter AI and data engineering through study groups, research exposure, and industry-aligned education.
