Working Together for a Change is a 10-year mental health and addiction plan for Saskatchewan, outlines the need for increasing access to clinical treatments for the two of the most common mental health issues: depression and anxiety.

Section 2.2 of the plan speaks to Internet delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (ICBT) is capable of increasing access to treatment and has been shown to be successful at treating depression and anxiety. Research on a prospective patients` and general populations’ acceptability of ICBT will help to clear uncertainty around further promotion and development this innovative treatment in Saskatchewan health system. This research is aimed at analyzing a sample composed of Saskatchewan adults from the general population in order to develop a framework for estimating interest of Saskatchewan population to partake in ICBT.
