Join us at the next Data Governance meet up - Wellington!

In this session, we'll be hearing from one of our members, Paul Stone - Data Governance Practice Lead at Meridian Energy. Paul will be sharing his experiences starting out a new Data Governance practice within an organisation.

Paul has taken a meandering path to data governance, from a network engineer/ IT Manager at the Ministry of Defence, to establishing information Services at the Charities Commission, to CIO at Culture & Heritage then to the Open Government Information and Data Programme and involvement in the International Open Data Charter and the OECD. When that programme finished he joined the Strategic Information team in Justice, followed by Information and Data Governance in Kāinga Ora, then finally landing as Data Governance Practice Lead at Meridian Energy.
