In this hands-on, fast-paced workshop, we applied real-world use cases to uncover hidden risks, blind spots, and mitigation strategies grounded in the Data Ethics Canvas and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, led by Yuliya Fakhr, PhD.

BIO: Yuliya holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Alberta. She previously served as Lead of Institute Programs at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, advancing national initiatives in circulatory and respiratory health, including e-health, policy development, and the Indigenous and Black Scholar Programs. Currently, she is a Senior Business Partner at Alberta Innovates, where she leads strategy for the deploymen
