19:00-19:30 - Putting GPT-3 in Production - Lessons Learned from Blinkist

Blinkist's book summarization service helps users understand key ideas from books within 15 minutes. In order to increase user engagement, Netlight and Blinkist implemented a recommendation engine powered by GPT-3 that sends book recommendations to users based on current trends at their location. This increased the CTR for marketing campaigns and reduced the editorial workload.

The data product was awarded "Best Data Application of the Year 2022" by Braze. The audience will gain insight into a real-world GPT use case and how to take a data product from idea to production within just 3 months.

Engineers love flux to deploy their services into the cloud. Steffen Schmitz, Site Reliability Engineering Lead at Y42, highlights the advantages of a GitOps setup and explains how those concepts map to the novel asset management approach in the Y42 DataOps Cloud.
