After the summer break it is time for a new meetup about data! We are honoured with three guest speakers sharing their knowledge. Infotopics will generously provide pizza's and drinks for all!

TALKS:

• Automated Machine Learning in Organizations (Robert P. Winkel, managing director Infotopics AI)
  How will AutoML influence the work of business analysts and data scientists in the future? Robert will talk about his vision and demonstrate it with a demo of DataRobot, an automated machine learning platform.

• The Language of Graphics (Yuri Engelhardt, Assistant Professor of Data Visualization and Visual Analytics at University of Twente)
  Yuri will show (conceptual) work that he is doing together with
  prof. Clive Richards (UK), covering the "vocabulary, grammar
  and semiotics of graphics" and the "DNA of datavisualizations",
  while richly illustrating everything.

• Practical AI ethics: applying the Ethics guidelines for trustworthy AI (Ben van der Harg, Data Engineer at GreenStar Statistics)
  In April 2019 the High-level expert group on Artificial Intelligence (HLEG-AI) published a set of ethical guidelines to design trustworthy AI systems. As the experts acknowledge: these guidelines by themselves are not enough to actually build trustworthy AI systems; that requires ethical reasoning as well. The main aim of this talk is therefore to explain these guidelines using practical examples, and offer some additional conceptual tools and exercises that could help you to apply these guidelines in your own work on AI systems.
