TALK ABSTRACTS
► "Toddlers, Discipline, and Data Reliability in Data Mesh'" by Tom Baeyens
Every data team has a desire for reliable analytical data yet very few teams succeed in consistently delivering reliable data at scale. Data engineering is toddler without discipline. Hacking ETL scripts together is fast and can be done by anyone. Software engineering is the mature adult. Encapsulation, testing and observability are known techniques that boost data teams to delivering reliable data consistently. These software engineering principles also offer a different viewpoint for the concepts of Data Mesh.
► "Securing Data Mesh Collaboration with Confidential Computing" by Frederic Lebeau
Learn how confidential computing improves the security of multi-party data and AI collaborations by protecting sensitive information during processing. See how identifiable workloads help strengthen governance and simplify data access management, ensuring distributed data confidentiality and integrity.
