► "Semantic Web for Data Products" by Stefan Driessen
Scalable data products require strong definitions that combine data models with IT and governance. Semantic Web Ontologies like ProMoTe and DPROD allow for easy data product creation and validation in a way that is human and machine-readable. In this talk, we will explore the benefits of these ontologies for data product design in industry settings.

► "Transitioning from a central bottleneck data team towards business enabling data services" by Stefan Van Raemdonck & Tom Holsteens
This session outlines the data product journey undertaken by Brussels Airlines, moving from a traditional data management approach to a value-driven data product ecosystem. We will explain the initial challenges we had with siloed data and slow analytical processes within BA. We will then go into the details of our implementation of a data product-centric model, and we’ll show the key principles and technologies we used to achieve this transformation.

With over five years of research and nearly two years of consulting experience, he has a proven track record of transforming complex data challenges into actionable strategies. His journey includes pioneering work on data products during his PhD and founding a consultancy that successfully implemented data products at KPN.
