How Much Do You Bench? AI Hackathon For Data Engineers - XMas Edition

We’re back, and this time with a Christmas twist! 🎄
This summer we filled our Antwerp office with data engineers for the first “How Much Do You Bench?” hackathon. It was competitive, it was a lot of fun, and the conversations kept going long after the final scores came in. So we’re doing it again, this time at our HQ in Leuven, just before the holidays.

The idea hasn’t changed. Everyone has the same models now. What separates good AI systems from bad ones is the engineering around them: the context, the tools, the guardrails.

🔒 Everyone gets the same open-weight LLM, and it’s locked: no fine-tuning, no model swaps, no extra GPUs.
🛠️ Your levers are the agent harness, the tools it can call, and the context you give it.
📊 You’ll work on real data engineering tasks, and every run is scored automatically.
🏆 The highest total at the end of the night wins.
