Abstract:

Effective data access and design depends on business knowledge, which is more complicated – far richer – than most realize. It requires a blueprint and a robust business vocabulary. Concept models provide the answer. They are leading the way in addressing a host of digital-era-problems – all the way from eliminating silos to machine learning.

Ron is Co-Founder & Principal of Business Rule Solutions, LLC (BRS).
He consults to companies worldwide through BRS. Specialties include business rules, policy interpretation, decision engineering, concept models, and business vocabulary. He also serves as a Chair of the annual Building Business Capability (BBC) conference, which he co-founded, and as Executive Editor of BRCommunity.com.
