Brilliant Women in Data
Tuesday, March 26, 2023
6pm - 7pm

BWiD meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6-7pm to discuss issues of interest and importance to us.

Topic: Transitioning Into A Career In Data
We have great article to discuss this week talking about a new low cost scalable solution to getting more women into tech. Researchers at Stanford launched a program called "Challenges" to focus on building portfolios as an alternative to direct mentorships, which tend to be much more resource intensive.

We'd love to discuss this article as well as any other issues you have faced trying to break into the tech world, or things you have found useful making that transition. As always we want to encourage any all perspectives on this topic, whether you are in that transition now or you are an established data professional. Looking forward to the discussion!
