Ever written a function in R, Python, or another language that made work easier? Maybe the thought crossed your mind: “This could help others too!” But how does a simple function become a full-fledged, reusable package?

This session explores the creation of 'adt', an R package introducing a new method to compare datasets. Originally designed for dietary patterns, the method is flexible enough for various types of data. Concepts will be explained in simple terms, with real-world examples to show how the package works.
