Past, Present, and Future: Redis, Valkey, and what comes next
Speakers:
Kyle Davis Senior Developer Advocate & Open Source Leader for Valkey
Description:
Valkey is an open source (BSD) high-performance key/value datastore that supports a variety of workloads such as caching, message queues, and can act as a primary database. Valkey can run as either a standalone daemon or in a cluster, with options for replication and high availability.
In this talk you'll learn about Valkey the Linux Foundation fork of (now not open source) Redis, what's staying the same and what's evolving, and how the project is approaching containers and operators.
