Using AI Skills to help answer a variety of questions in Microsoft Fabric

Abstract: In this session I will explain how to get data into Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse.

I will then create an AI Skill which can then be used to answer a variety of questions where the data is not stored within an existing semantic model.

I will also show you how the endpoint can be used where the AI Skill can be used in an external application. Any other questions around Fabric and Power BI are most welcome.

Speaker Bio: I am a Power BI/Fabric Consultant/Architect at FourMoo, a leading data analytics company that helps organizations to see their data on their terms.

Out of the box thinking has allowed me to produce outcomes that are both cost effective (often reducing overall costs) and providing valuable insights into data. The solutions are designed and deployed using Microsoft technologies.

My mission is to provide solutions for business challenges by sitting with the users and leveraging the new features in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to fit with their goals. I also support the implementation and completion of Power BI projects, including architecture design, development, deployment, training, best practice, and user group sessions. Some of the technologies I use are Azure Analysis Services, Function Apps, Runbooks, Logic Apps, Automation Accounts, SQL Serverless DB, Azure Data Lake, and more. I am passionate about Power BI and DAX, and I enjoy speaking at various events and conferences to share my knowledge and experience.
