- SQL Saturday Israel Sessions Voting and Discussion – Maria Zakourdaev (60 Minutes, Hebrew)
SQL Saturday Israel is the biggest and most comprehensive educational data conference in Israel, organized by the Israeli Data Platform community. It is free and a non-profit event. These days we are starting to work on the 6th annual SQL Saturday, which will take place on May 7th 2020, and we need your help to choose the conference sessions lineup.
During this session you will rate speakers that you prefer to appear at the SQL Saturday event, and will review and vote for submitted sessions: https://www.sqlsaturday.com/947/Sessions/SubmittedSessions.aspx
Together we will build the conference agenda.
- CI and CD with SSDT – Part 2: SSDT Methodology and Features – Eitan Blumin (60 Minutes, Hebrew)
Meet SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools), that comes with the SQL Database Project as an effective tool for integrating the database development with the software development lifecycle. Source control, version history, unit testing and CI/CD: SSDT comes with an answer for all. This session is based on Eitan's real-world experience of implementing source control methodologies and CI/CD for SQL Server databases, using the Microsoft SSDT environment.
In this session, the second of a 2-part series, we will cover the rich tools, features and methodologies in SSDT that allow DBAs to implement a continuous database development lifecycle.
We will also learn about solutions to common fears and objections coming from naysayers, common problems while starting with SSDT for the first time, and various problematic edge cases and how to solve them.
We all know the database is a critical element of your software product. It’s high time for that fact to be reflected in your database development lifecycle!
Important: In order to attend this meetup, you must RSVP. If your name does not appear on the list of attendees, you won't be able to enter the venue. So please RSVP. Registration will be closed two days before the event, on 01/03. Thank you!
