Export Data to Parquet Files Directly from SQL Server 2022

we will discuss the CETAS (create external table as select) technique which is finally available on SQL Server 2022. I will explain how to create parquet files directly from SQL Server to a cloud storage. This new feature is great news and might make our ETL and/or archiving solutions much easier. I will also demonstrate how to make it all a "one-stop-shop" with the help of PowerShell.
