Details
This month, Janusz Rokicki will be presenting on using Anomaly Detection in SQL Server to do Predictive Maintenance.
Abstract:
The amount of data we collect, store and process is rapidly growing and goes hand in hand with the growing amount of work related to managing it.
Automation is key if we want to stay in control and AIOps represents the next major step with potential to revolutionise IT operations.
This session explains what predictive maintenance is, provides common use cases and gives practical examples that help to avoid costly SQL Server disruptions and eliminate firefighting.
Real-world examples will be presented on how to automate the identification of security threats, address limitations of the Query Store and improve monitoring of network latency as just a few examples.
