📌 Topic: SQL Server and user defined function.

Abstract:

SQL Server has few types of user defined function. In this presentation we'll discuss the problems that we might have while using UDF and what Microsoft modified in order to solve some of those problems. We'll also see why we cannot modify data in tables using UDF and the catastrophic results that will occur if we modify data in a UDF

לשרתי האס.קיו.אל יש מספר סוגים של פונצקיות, שאנחנו יכולים לבנות. במצגת אנחנו נדון בבעיות שיכולות לצוץ כשאנחנו משתמשים בפונקציות ומה עשתה חברת מייקרוסופט על מנת להקל או לפתור את הבעיות. בנוסף נדון לגבי הסיבה שלא ניתן לשנות נתונים בטבלאות בתוך פונקציה, וניראה את התוצאות הקטסטרופליות שעלולות לקרות כאשר אנו משנים נתונים בתוך הפונקציה.
