Effective data science isn't always about building more complex models, world class accuracy isn't worth much unless decision makers know what to do with it.
This time round data science thought leader Laura Summers (https://www.linkedin.com/in/summerscope/) has agreed to present some of her learnings from a fraud detection and ops project she undertook at a telco.
After the talk there will be a friendly ethics-in-tech problem solving competition, and, of course, free nosh.
