Real-time Data Analysis with MapR!

We're excited to host Matthew Morris and Marc Fabbo of MapR who will present two sessions explaining how MapR fits into the landscape of big-data technologies!

"MapR – Overview and Open-Source Comparison" will highlight the key fundamental features of the MapR Converged Data Platform. It will include a business and technical overview of the MapR product suite, including how the converged data platform differs from Hadoop and other open-source tools/platforms in the space. How to support, leverage and provision Hadoop/open-source project architecture(s) on the MapR Converged Data Platform will be covered.

"Using Streaming Technology to Enable Real-time Applications" will focus on leveraging MapR’s global event-streaming technology to build real-time, big-data applications. MapR Streams will be highlighted as a key technology in enabling deployment of these types of applications globally, in real-time, and at IOT scale. In addition, a demonstration of this technology will be performed and some key use cases will be highlighted.
