Zero-to-MCP: Accelerating AI with FastMCP
Abstract
Heard of the Model Context Protocol but not sure how to make it work for you? In this talk we'll demystify MCP and use FastMCP to skip all the hard parts. We'll build custom servers, convert existing APIs, and learn how to spin up clients for deterministic testing, all so you can give your agents superpowers with minimal fuss.
Bio
Jeremiah Lowin is the founder and CEO of Prefect. A recovering data practitioner and founding member of the Apache Airflow PMC, he now builds products that simplify complex data and AI pipelines and advises companies like Spotify on technology strategy. He holds a master’s in statistics from Harvard and lives in Washington, DC.
