VN2: An Inventory Planning Competition

Join Kansas City's Data Science community on March 12. Patrick McDonald will share his experience participating in VN2, an inventory planning competition designed to simulate inventory ordering in a live retail (grocery) environment. Patrick rapidly developed his entry using Cursor AI. He’ll present what he expected and what he learned about AI assisted coding, leveraging AI in a data science environment, and the failure modes that make vibe coding dangerous for data science.
