We will hear about surfacing unique property features as well as identifying high intent users.

Our first topic

Listing Highlights: Using Generative AI to surfacing Unique Property Features

In this talk, Yicheng will present on how at realestate.com.com.au we used generative AI to mine unique features from listing descriptions and turns them into reliable, structured outputs to show our end users and shipped this to production.

Yicheng Guo builds production ML systems that turn messy text into dependable features and user experiences. He’s hands-on with evaluation, MLOps, and making GenAI cost-effective and trustworthy in real products.

High Intent User: Identifying users ready act!

In this talk, Ben will present on how realestate.com.com.au identifies high-intent users using behavioural data, selective labelling, and bias checks. How this model integrates across products and drives business value.

Ben Bligh is a Senior Data Scientist at REA Group. He has extensive experience in understanding the core of why users do what they do and specialises in translating noisy user behaviour into calibrated, production-ready scores. He is the maestro of behavioural signals and excels at bridging technical thinking with product needs.
