Talk 1 : Title T.B.A.
Speaker : Domenico Bellomo
Domenico Bellomo, originally trained as an electrical engineer, transitioned into bioinformatics nearly a decade ago and joined SkylineDx in 2014 after positions at TU Delft and VU Amsterdam. He specializes in applying statistical analysis and machine learning to large genomic and medical datasets to discover and validate molecular biomarkers with diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive value. His work is driven by a passion for translating complex data into insights that address unmet clinical needs and improve patient care.
Abstract: T.B.A
Talk 2 : Accelerating Development with AI: Practical Tips for Coding and Prototyping
Speaker : Ugur Ertas
Hi, I’m Ugur Ertas, a front-end developer at Eneco eMobility, where I work on building a platform for EV charging and energy-related applications. I’m passionate about exploring how AI can enhance the developer experience, especially through tools like Cursor, generative models, and AI-driven agents.
With a background in modern web development and a growing interest in machine learning and cloud technologies, I enjoy experimenting with ways to make coding faster, smarter, and more enjoyable.
Abstract:
In this talk, I’ll share how I use AI tools—especially Cursor—to accelerate everyday development. I’ll walk through how to write effective prompts that generate high-quality code for both front-end and back-end projects, and how to guide AI systems to produce clean, maintainable solutions.
I’ll also show how you can use AI to create rapid prototypes in minutes, making it easier to validate ideas, explore architectures, or experiment with new features before building them out fully.
Based on my work at Eneco eMobility and my own projects, I’ll discuss what works well in practice, where the limitations are, and how to integrate AI into your workflow while keeping full control over your codebase.
This session is ideal for developers and data scientists who want practical, hands-on ways to use AI to speed up coding, prototyping, and experimentation.
This edition is hosted by SkylineDx
