Chris will once again share his wide knowledge as a senior recruiter, focusing on what companies are working on, skillsets in demand, navigating the job market & job searching strategies.

Chris is a Principal Technical Recruiter with 9 years of Australian-based experience partnering with leading Financial Services organisations, Consulting firms, Fintechs and Government agencies to find the best-suited talent for their needs across the Data & Technology fields. Over the past 5 years, Chris has worked primarily across a number of Data verticals Data Science/ML, Data Engineering, Analytics/BI, Projects & Governance, but has more recently narrowed focus to specialise in the Data Science & AI niche.
His experience in niche, highly-technical markets combined with his educational background in Finance & Actuarial Studies have allowed him to carve a unique depth of knowledge in a range of industry sectors. Chris has a genuine interest in helping people and providing direction for job seekers. He invests the time needed to coach his candidates throughout their search for a new role and enjoys following the journey of the candidates he places with his clients.

This is also, as always, your chance to present for five minutes on what you have been working on, or what interests you in the fields of AI and data science. The event will be catered with food and drink, and—as always—there will be plenty of time for networking
